Many entrepreneurs want to know how to make money with affiliate marketing, a way to make money is on content websites like blogs, affiliate marketing is a market that grows every day in the whole world but you have to be careful with some things and we are here today to talk about them

 

What is affiliate marketing and how it works?

 

Affiliate marketing is an arrangement by which an online retailer pays commissions to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals. Affiliate marketing is an online marketing strategy that was first implemented by the powerful Amazon. The success was so big that it became a tendency on the web.

 

Yes it is possible to make a lot of money with affiliate marketing but don't get your hopes too high if you think it Is easy, it doesn't happen overnight and much less without hard-working.

 

But how do you make money with affiliate marketing?

 

To do this it's required for you to have a Blog or a website and at least 150-500usd to start. As I said in my previous articles, I only share what I have learned from my experiences only. I won’t talk about things I haven't tried so this methods that I'm going to talk about are only methods that I have tried myself. If there are, any other ways to make money with affiliate marketing which there are I will not talk about them if I do not have results with them.

 

As I was saying, to make money with affiliate marketing you will first need a website or a blog (To learn how to make a good-looking and professional blog read here, where I go more in-depth about it, you don't need any programming skills just follow the instructions and you'll be good to go link here).

 

You can create an e-commerce website where you list affiliate products so every time someone buys a product from your store you get a commission. You can use Amazon affiliates for this purpose.

 

You could also review products from amazon and post affiliate links for the products you’re reviewing. You could do these reviews in form of blogs or YouTube videos

 

Alternatively, you could use affiliate-marketing platforms like Click Bank. Where you choose a product that you think fits your audience and promote It on your website or blog, there are many affiliates opportunities that aren't listed platforms like Click Bank, Commission Junction, Rakuten marketing, Etc. Do your diligence and find the right platform with the relevant product or service for your audience.

 

Of course, after you take any of those steps you won’t start getting sales out of the blue. You will need traffic to your site. To do so you need to do promotions by using paid advertising. You could use google advertising or Facebook ads for that.

 

So here Is what you need to do:

• Choose a product you want to promote
• Create a website/blog that is relatable to your product
• Create content around your product (marketing)
• Promote your product
• Earn commission

 

 

When I first started, I made few mistakes:

-I didn’t run promotions early enough nor consistently;

-I focused too much in earning rather than creating content around my products;

-I didn’t want to spend money which totally slowed my development;

-I wasn’t trying to innovate on my strategies I basically did what everyone was doing;

-I consumed too much information before I took action. I recommend to anyone starting out to take action as soon as possible and learn as you grow do not wait for the perfect moment there is never one.

 

Nowadays I am averaging around $36.000-$40.000 in profit per month. There are months where I make more and other I make less but I am about to reach solid $50.000 per month in a few weeks.

Another piece of advice I would give is that you should not be afraid to test things out and see what works for you don’t be afraid to spend money on educating yourself too. It took me many trials to get here I had a lot of money wasted in blogs and websites that didn’t make me any money and only gave me expenses and headaches. I spent quite a bit of money on courses; some were useless because they didn’t offer me any value. Others on the other hand helped me a lot, thanks to them I was able to reach where I am at now.
