You might think that blogging is something from the past. No one reads anymore right? It’s 2018 who even reads anymore? Well I am here to tell you that if you think like this you’re very wrong In fact today I will be showing you how I get readers every day on my blogs but also how I make money blogging.
Let’s start first by giving you some background. I have done many businesses during my journey and one of the business that I appreciate the most Is blogging because I have earned so much from It not only money but experiences that are priceless. I am on my way to be making $50.000 per month in profit from my blogging business. Here is a screenshot showing the traffic from one of my blogs.
But as you might have guessed it wasn’t always like this. I remember days where I had to struggle to even keep my website up. I barely had 50 visitors per month and more than anyone I understand how it feels when success is looking so out of reach. So, this Is why today I am going to show you how I made my success possible and how you can do It too. Everything that I am going to talk about on this article are things that I have tested myself and have proved to be worth.
How can you make money from blogging?
First choose a niche. Don’t go to broad and write about a lot of unrelated things that won’t be good for your website because your audience won’t connect with you in a way that they will feel like coming back or becoming loyal to your brand. If you want loyal audience and be able to create a brand and maybe an authority website you need to focus in one niche that pays more In the long term.
You should start by writing about something that you are passionate or skilled about. Let’s say you understand about pets why not write about pets? And so on.
Then choose how you want to monetize your website. Here are few ways you can do It:
- Display google ads on your site.
- Do affiliate marketing
- Sell sponsored posts
- Sell e-books
1- Google Ads
If you have enough traffic you can opt to run google AdSense on your website where you earn commissions per click. Google AdSense is great because it places ads targeted automatically at your sites content. Adding AdSense ads to your website is very easy. You can learn how to do It here

3- Sell sponsored posts
When you get enough authority on the web, you can start charging for features on your website where you promote peoples content as they request. That probably won’t take long to happen if you focus on a niche and become successful in it.
4- Sell e-books
If you are expert in something why not write about It and sell it?
How to start
a- Choose your product/Service
Will you sell e-books, or become an affiliate? From this choice, your content creation should be geared towards your product reaching your clients by using content marketing strategies.
b- Create great content
Your main concern when creating a blog should be to give quality content, and write about things that the public wants.
To know what Is trending become more engaged in social networks, use google trends to see the most searched topics and go from there.
c- Create an editorial calendar
If you want to grow It Is necessary for you to keep the consistency. An editorial calendar will help you keep frequency in your postings. If you choose to post twice per week then you should be faithful to that.
d- Create a contact base
If you have mail lists you can be more engaged with your audience and keep them updated about what is going on in your website so anytime you post you can let them know.
e- Become engaged on social networks
If you offer exclusive content on social networks you can get lots of traffic from them to your website. And as you might have figured out by now traffic Is gold. By using social networks often people will engage with your posts more and share them which is good for your website not only it creates trust among your audience but It makes you more trustable for google algorithm. This way you can start ranking higher on search engines
f- Learn SEO
Search engine optimization will improve your position in the search engines so you can rank higher on google for example. This way you will get lots of organic traffic(free).
g- Invest in paid ads
It might sound painful for a beginner to spend money on ads but trust me it is necessary. You won’t have any authority on google when you first launch which means that your website will be very hard to find on google. So, to turn around this and start creating momentum for your website you need to produce quality content and run ads. You can use any of the monetizing strategies we’ve talked about above to make money while you run ads.
How to create you website?
Well the good news Is that nowadays you don’t need to know any coding to build a website. You have platforms that will allow you to create any website you wish in matter of minutes.
You could follow the step by step guide I will give you bellow or you could have your website built for you for very cheap you can find developers here,
to build your website for $50 or $100. Just type "WordPress blog" in the search tab and you will find plenty of options.

For that reason, I am going to show you how you can build your website using WordPress which Is what I use for my blog sites. The best of all this Is that WordPress is free. You heard that right. But you will need to pay for your hosting and domain.
Hosting Is where your website live. Every website needs one.
Domain is your website address on the internet. It is what people type in the address bar to get to your website.

Getting back to how to create your website
1-First step you need to choose a domain name register it
To do that click get started now
On the next screen select the plan that you need
After that you need to enter the domain name for your website
Then you will need to add your account information. The more months you choose the more discounts you get but If you don’t feel like doing that you can choose the lower plans. I recommend going for at least 36 months package because It will give you more reasons to work harder.
2-Install WordPress

3-Start writing
After you’ve finished your website you can now start writing about the topics you wish and start taking action.
